How do we collect your data?

We collect your personal data when you contact us via email or send a message through the contact form on our website. We only collect the data you provide us.

Which data do we use and for what purpose?

e use your contact details (name and surname, email address, and organisation name) to respond to your message or contact you. The legal basis is the performance of a contract, interpreted broadly as fulfilling your request to establish contact or receive a response.

We use your country of origin for statistical reporting to the funder of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, as reporting statistics (country only) is a funding requirement.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We keep the data as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

Contact details are stored until communication ends and for an additional 5 years (in case of legal claims). Since this website is co-funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), we will store your data at least until 31 December 2031. 12. 2031.

Wherever possible, personal data processed under legitimate interest are anonymised. When this is not possible, data are deleted once the legitimate purpose no longer applies.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

We handle your personal data with the utmost care. In general, only our employees—bound by confidentiality and trained in data protection—process your data. In some cases, external contractors process the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. They may not use your data for their own purposes.

Your personal data may be shared with EACEA, Rue Joseph II 59, Brussels, Belgium, which oversees the implementation of the project. Our project partners—Slagalica – Foundation for Local Community Development, Trg Augusta Šenoe 1, Osijek, Croatia, and Solidarna – Foundation for Human Rights and Solidarity, Trg kralja Petra Krešimira IV br. 2, Zagreb, Croatia—may also receive the data as part of mandatory reporting.

We do not transfer your personal data to third countries or international organisations.

Your rights regarding personal data

You have the right to access your data, correct them, delete them, limit their processing, or request data portability, as set out by applicable laws.

If you believe that your personal data (e.g. name, email address, photograph) has been published on our website and there is no appropriate basis for this, please let us know at info@cnvos.si or by telephone on 01/ 542 14 22.

Each individual also has the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of his or her personal data with the Information Commissioner, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (website: www.ip-rs.si).
